Goals of Professional Development:
1) to help you deal with the technology used in your job, and in your courses
2) to help you improve your courses, to influence retention and student success, via Instructional Design and the continuous improvement of Course Quality
3) to help you stay current in your subject matter

Many Colleges and Universities include up to 40 hours a year of verified Professional Development as a part of the conditions of employment;
this is not to be a punishment, rather an investment in time that will actually reduce you work load and improve results as you go forward.

I can also help full time staff, full time faculty, and adjunct faculty track outside activities related to Professional Development, especially for faculty evaluation*
