This document will explain how Temple College's Web Based ARTC 1325, Intro to Computer Graphics, works.

You should be an independent learner to be successful in this class, or at least have the discipline to take responsibility for getting tasks done on time, as you do not receive the same kind of attention as a traditional classroom provides.

Items to accomplish during the current course time frame:
   • Using TC Web Mail

•Read\Review (These links take you to the same information that is in the pdf book.)
   • Orientation
   • skim the FAQ
   • using D2L
   • the Syllabus and the Syllabus appendix (pdf)
        • All students must check into D2L at least twice a week, and participate using the Discussions area of D2L.
   •After reading the syllabus and syllabus appendix, complete the Syllabus Quiz in D2L (not graded, but must be completed before you can access discussions  

   • Lab Procedures

   •Update your Profile in D2L.
      Once you are added to the class roster, access to D2L...
      Choose Classlist, on the Gray tool bar, and select the Student Tab, as needed.
      To edit your profile, click the icon beside your name.
   •Take Syllabus Quiz
   •Reply to Participation Discussion Topic 1: (details below under SUBMIT)
   •Reply to MUD (details below under SUBMIT)

•Submit by 11:59 am, Friday, of the current week (see due dates)
      • Logon to D2L
   • Syllabus Quiz
   • MUD 1 (My Understanding, Details) Respond in the class D2L Discussion forum to the following:
      What topics, if any, during this time frame do you feel very comfortable with? Why?
      What topics, if any, during this time frame do you not feel comfortable with?
   • Participation Discussion 1 Respond in the class D2L Discussion forum to the following:
      Please Introduce yourself to the class
