Flying Motorcycle...
1 While walking through Adams Morgan about 10:30 pm Saturday night, I saw two kids on motorcycles racing each other down the crowded main drag, generally showing off. One of the kids popped a wheelie and lost control of the bike. The kid fell off and the bike launched itself and literally flew 20 feet, landing on top of an occupied car, and tumbled down the drivers side. It ripped off the rear view mirror, and probably really shook up the passengers. The kid jumped on the other bike and they both disappeared, leaving the scene and the totaled bike. This indicates to me that they were not the owners of the bike... Shortly there were police cars, ambulances, and firetrucks (to deal with the ruptured gas tank).
