We frequently went to San Diego in the 90s, visting the sailing ships of the past, and saw the Americas Cup boats during the US defence. Of course we did the zoo, Wild Life park, the Embarcadero, the Gas Light quarter, and the beaches.

On one trip, we also headed north, and stayed at the Queen Mary in Longbeach
